Special Educational Needs (SEN) Team
The core purpose of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Team is to ensure a shared understanding of, and commitment to, an island-wide model of inclusive education.
The aim of the SEN Team is to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs achieve highly and get the most out of their school life.
To achieve this, the SEN Team works closely with children and key stakeholders: parents, carers, families and schools (both maintained and independent), early years’ settings, other Children, Young People, Education and Skills (CYPES) teams and services, Health and Social Services and a range of voluntary sector organisations.
