Between 1 October and 30 April, you can exercise dogs on the beach at any time.  

Between 1 May and 30 September, dogs must be kept on a lead between 10.30am and 6pm.

​Pick up after your dog

You must remove your dog's waste from the beach. Special bins are provided in many locations to put your dog's waste.

You can be fined up to £500 if you don't clean up after your dog.

Horses on the beach​

Between 1 October and 30 April, you can exercise horses on the beach at any time.

Between 1 May and 30 September, horses cannot be exercised on the beach between 10.30am and 6pm.
