About the consultation
This consultation document is being issued to seek feedback from stakeholders (including businesses, industry associations, practitioners and any other interested parties) on the implementation of the introduce of economic substance requirements for partnerships.
The consultation is designed to seek feedback on the high level principles in extending economic substance requirements to partnerships including:
- inform Revenue Jersey of the potential impact of the proposals, and identify areas where further work may need to be directed; also
- to inform the drafting of legislation and/or guidance.
The consultation also highlights there will shortly be a further consultation on streamlining the administrative approaches relating to tax and partnerships.
