About the consultation

​​We’re looking to introduce a ban on the sale and supply of single use vapes due to their environmental impact.

We want to understand:

  • ​the implementation period that would be needed before the introduction of a ban
  • the impact of a ban on local businesses and individuals​

Jersey is a party to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and so has an obligation to protect the development of public health policy from the vested interests of the tobacc​o industry. To meet this obligation, we ask all respondents to disclose whether they have a​ny direct or indirect links to, or receive funding from, the tobacco industry.
