About the consultation

The Carbon Neutral Roadmap outlines targets to reduce the Island’s carbon emissions, including a policy that explores the use of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).

Over 4,000 EPCs have been registered in Jersey. We would like to understand how well these are performing.

We want to get feedback from property owners and managers who have commissioned EPCs. We'll analyse the responses and present a summary to the Minister for the Environment with any recommendations. This will help inform the development of the energy performance assessment process and tools.

We have also instructed 3 studies to review specific aspects of the EPCs which are part of the consultation.
