About the consultation
The Regulator has received a request from Master Farms Ltd to vary an existing water resources abstraction licence (no 213). If granted, the licence will authorise the following:
- An additional abstraction point (located north-west of the Jersey Water Pont Marquet pumping station in St Brelade) downstream of the existing licensed abstraction point
- The revised licensed quantity is not to exceed 275 cubic metres (approximately 60,491 gallons) in any 24 hour period
- The revised licensed quantity is not to exceed 3885 cubic meters (approximately 854,580 gallons) per year
Any person who wishes to make representations under Article 8 (Water Resources (Jersey) Law 2007) should do so in writing to the Regulator. All representations must be received by 19 June 2017, quoting the application reference.
Copies of representations received will be passed to the applicant and may be published on-line. The applicant will have the right of reply to any representations and may respond by writing to the Regulator within 14 days of receipt of the copies.
No decisions will be made by the Regulator until the time limits for making comments have elapsed.
