About the consultation

We're reviewing the health and wellbeing needs of women and girls to understand:

  • ​the factors that women and girls feel affect their health and wellbeing
  • the extent to which their health and wellbeing needs are met
  • any barriers they face in accessing health and wellbeing services
  • the areas women and girls want prioritised for improvement

How to submit comments to the consultation

We want to hear from all Islanders. You can respond:

  • ​based on your own experiences as a women or girl in Jersey
  • on behalf of a specific woman or girl you know or care for, based on their experiences
  • based on your experiences of women and girls in Jersey in general

You can complete our survey online. The online form includes the:​

  • ​​women's health and wellbeing survey
  • option to register for focus group discussions and interviews 
  • contraception survey

Join a focus group discussion or interview​

Register your interest to: 

  • ​take part in focus group discussions and interviews
  • discuss your views and experiences o​n women’s ​health and wellbeing in more depth

​For this consultation, the terms ‘women’ and ‘girls’ are used inclusively to apply to anyone who identifies as a woman or girl, irre​spective of whether they have undergone gender reassignment or are transgender.​

We are also​ reviewing contraceptive services in Jersey​.

Professionals and organisations

The views of professionals and organisations who provide healthcare and wellbeing services to women and girls have already been sought as part of this review.

Your responses will be treated confidentially and in li​ne wi​th Jersey’s data protection legislation. Any comments you provide will remain anonymous. More information can be found in the Public Health privacy notice.

The findings of this consultation will inform a ​Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)​ on women’s health and wellbeing in Jersey.​
