10 September 2015
Just one week remains before the consultation on the revision of the existing Construction (Safety Provisions) (Jersey) Regulations 1970 closes.
We need your feedback to ensure the regulations are appropriate for the local industry. For example, do you agree:
- the definition of a ‘major construction project’ should include reference to a defined number of people working simultaneously on site at any one time?
- ‘work at height’ should be defined as work at a height of two metres or more?
- major construction projects should be notified to the Health and Safety Inspectorate?
We welcome your comments on the proposed draft set of new regulations.
Complete the online survey, email or write to the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate by 16 September 2015.
