In terms of the opt-out system of organ donation as operating in Wales, the Health and Social Services Minister has said that Jersey, in common with other jurisdictions, is adopting a ‘watch and learn’ approach, with the Minister likely to review the position in 2017.

As in the UK, people in Jersey can sign up online at NHS Organ Donation Register (see link below), call 0300 1232323 or fill in an application form available at the hospital and other public places, including GP surgeries.
Also, when they take out or renew their Jersey driving licence, there is a section on the form where they can sign up.
