The Department for Community and Constitutional Affairs is reviewing the issue of vehicles that have been parked or abandoned on private land without authorisation.
The Department is working with interested parties, including the Department for Infrastructure and Chefs de Police to bring forward draft legislation to provide private landowners with a form of protection and redress against the problem of unauthorised vehicles on their land. This will also cover Andium Homes and the Ports of Jersey. It is expected that draft legislation will be brought forward in late 2017 and hopefully no later than the end of this Ministerial term.
