Port Galots application fee (FOI)

As part of your reply to my FOI Request [reference number redacted], it was stated that the Port Galots developers paid Planning and Environment fees of £32802 in 2014. I have checked the public area of Planning's website and can find no mention of these fees or a breakdown thereof. This said I would request from Planning and Environment confirmation of the amount of fees paid (as per the above identified FOI Request) and itemisation of the individual fees making up this total.

Response

The fee of £32,802 for the Port Galots application was made up as follows:

• Cat 1B: For one or more dwellings that form part of a development, £8.95 per square metre or part thereof of floor area created:
  1692sq.m X £8.95 = £15,143.40
• Cat 3C - Construction or extension of a non-residential building or change of use of a building to a non-residential use, £10.40 per square metre or part thereof: 1698sq.m X £10.40 = £17,659.20
• Total fee paid = £32,802.60
