Specialist operational equipment is stored off site. There is also an overflow training facility, crime scene investigation examination bay for sterile vehicle examinations, major incident equipment storage and bulk storage for facilities management. Just under 20% of the site is used for paperwork storage. The States of Jersey Police currently require 1.3 Km of shelf space to store paperwork that is required to be held under the Management of Police Information guidelines. "Weeding" takes place annually but new files are added year on year. This saves between £20,000 and £25,000 per annum on using a commercial document storage facility.

The current contract is for a minimum of five years with an extension option built in.
