Request
Further to numerous Freedom of Information Requests in which it has been revealed that Deputy Sam Mezec has been reprimanded three times by the Privileges and Procedures Committee (PPC) for his online internet behaviour towards others.
I would like to know if any of these upheld complaints were further referred to the States of Jersey Police by PPC for consideration under the Telecommunications (Jersey) Law 2002, and if they were not, why not?
Response
The Privileges and Procedures Committee did not refer the complaints to the States of Jersey Police, as there was no reason to do so, and the matter was closed.
This response has been issued on behalf of the States Greffe. The States Greffe is responsible for the information held by (and on behalf of) both itself and the States Assembly.
