A
Can you advise me how much has been spent in the last year on agency staff within the States Ambulance service and how many people this involves.
B
How many Ambulance qualified staff, drivers and attendants, can St John Ambulance provide for a major incident at this time as per the Agreement in place to support the States Ambulance in a major incident.
I understand this is a charity but there is an agreement drawn up that the Ambulance service rely on.
Response
A
In relation to 2017, no agency staff were used, and as such, the information is not held by the Health and Social Services Department.
Due to the small numbers of agency staff used in 2018, the disclosure of amount spent may reveal the salary of individuals. In order to protect the privacy of these individuals, Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
B
The Memorandum of Understanding with St John Ambulance does not stipulate any required numbers of qualified staff drivers, or attendants. Therefore, the information is not held.
