Please provide a breakdown of the number of self-harming incidents and suicide attempts year on year since 2013 for all inmates at HM Prison La Moye and also the total prison population for each year.

This information is contained in the States of Jersey Prison Service HM Prison La Moye Annual Reports and is therefore exempt under Article 23 (Accessible by other means) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

All prisoners have access to confidential mental health support. Currently this is via the Community Psychiatric Nurse (C.P.N) and Psychiatrist if required. Prisoners may also access the bereavement counselling service if they have been referred.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
