Property purchases for the Future Hospital (FOI)

Please could you tell me the total area of all the properties in Kensington Place that need to be purchased for our new Hospital, and secondly the amount that has been budgeted to purchase them.

The following properties need to be acquired regarding the new General Hospital -

• Stafford Hotel

• Revere Hotel

• Sutherland Court

• 44 Kensington Place (acquired in two parts on 15 December 2017 and 23 February 2018)

The total area of these properties (ie footprint) is identified as 4,028 sq. m, as shown on the attached map, but will be confirmed as the individual properties are acquired.

The cost of acquisition of these properties will be contained within the overall approved £466 million project budget. As already stated publicly, a sum of £10.5 million has been allocated within this budget amount for these acquisitions.
