How many accidents have occurred on the junction between Route Du Fort and St Clements coast road (turning right into the coast road) in the past 24 months?
What time of day or night these accidents happened?
If possible, how many vehicles were involved?
If possible, how many resulted in serious injury?
Response
Since January 2017, there have been 20 road traffic collisions (RTC’s) on Route Du Fort.
Only two of these occurred at the junction with St Clements Coast road and both involved vehicles turning right into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Both involved two vehicles and resulted in minor injuries.
One occurred in May 2017 at 17:45. The other occurred recently at 21:00.
Not all RTC’s are reported to the police although single vehicle and injury RTC’s are required to be reported by law.
