Previous uses of the International Finance Centre site (FOI)

Concerning the International Finance Centre development building IFC 5, St Helier, Jersey:

[Name redacted] has been commissioned to undertake an environmental review of the above referenced site. I am trying to establish the former uses of the site and how long they were present on the site, in particular relating to industrial uses, bulk storage tanks and known soil investigations that may have been undertaken. Please can you therefore send me any information you have in your records in relation to the following:

Please provide a full planning history of the site dating from the oldest available records (eg copies of planning cards or a database printout).

B

Please identify any applications which were approved subject to the following conditions:

• investigation or remediation to deal with ground contamination

• installation of gas monitoring boreholes or gas ingress measures

Please can you respond as soon as possible and let me know if there is a charge for this information prior to any work being carried out. An indication of the length of time needed to process the request would be helpful.
