I am writing to ask for your help with a request under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
Would it be possible for you to send me a copy of any records that would show some or all of the following information:
A
A list of all types of alternative asset investments, including private equity, venture capital, distressed debt, mezzanine, fund of funds, infrastructure, natural resources, real estate and private debt partnerships in which Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund is an investor.
B
For each partnership, may I please have a copy of any alternative assets investment records that would show some or all of the following information:
Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund's total commitment to the partnership,
the total contributions made by Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund to the partnership to date
the total distributions received by Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund from the partnership to date
the estimated current value of Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund's holding in the partnership, and
any available estimates of the IRR earned by Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund to date on its investment in the partnership

In addition to this could you please provide me with an up to date account of your current asset allocations in the above asset classes including any direct investments you may have.
In the event that Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund has no such investments, a simple note to this effect will suffice.

The Jersey Teachers’ Superannuation Fund (JTSF) is not subject to Freedom of Information legislation in Jersey.
However, information on the Fund, including the assets held, is available in the JTSF Annual Reports which are available at:

The JTSF Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2018 will be published by the end of May 2019.
