I am interested in knowing the terms of the agreement between the state's and the tenants of the marsh, who own the land which the goose green car park is situated;
B
Whether charging for parking by the state's is part of the agreement; and
C
Also whether motor traffic laws apply.

The contract regarding the acquisition of land by the Public of the Island from the tenants, upon which the Goose Green Car Park is now situated, was passed 11 June 1965.

We have reviewed the contractual covenants from when the land was acquired and there are no specific references to parking charges however there is nothing to prevent charges being levied.

Motor Traffic Laws are enforceable within this car park.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
