States of Jersey licensed employees (FOI)

On DATE, YEAR, how many employees of the States of Jersey were on employment licences (less than 5 years resident)?

On the same date, how many of these were employed at the Metrological Office, Department of the Environment, and in what positions/grades.

The above question is asked for 1st February 2019, 1st February 2018, 1st February 2017 and 1st February 2016.

Below is a table showing total headcount, broken down by year and residency, of Licensed and Registered staff within the States of Jersey:

It is not possible to provide the details of licensed staff specifically within the Meteorological department, as the figure is fewer than 10.

(1)     Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

(2)     Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a)     it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018; and
(b)     its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
