Job description of Group Director of Childrens Services

There is no Job Description and Person Specification for the “new senior commissioning leadership role” as this work is being undertaken within the existing remit of the Group Director, Children’s Services.

NB There has been no requirement to change the Job Description and Person Specification for the Group Director, Children’s Services because it has been determined that the post holder can re-focus their duties within the remit of the existing job role.

Following a request for an internal review the following response was made:

The review has been completed by a senior member of the Government of Jersey, independent of the original decision making process.

The review confirmed that the response to the request was correct in that at the current time there is no job description in place for a senior commissioning leadership role within Children, Young People, Education and Skills.
