I would like to be provided with the number of male calves born in Jersey that have been killed soon after their birth. I would like this information provided as an average death rate per-week over the last 18 months.

Response

The Knackers Yard have processed 3257 calves since January 2018 to 23 October 2019, with an average processing rate of 34 calves per week.

Please note that the Knackers Yard does not record the gender of calves.
