To date that this question is answered, how many people have requested testing for Covid due to having symptoms but been denied?

Response

The Covid-19 Helpline team refer people for testing after discussions with the caller. Referrals for testing are based on individual needs and necessity. We have not recorded the number of people who have not met the testing criteria and therefore, the information is not held.
