My question regards ventilators
A
can you please tell me how many ventilators we have available in the hospital?
B
can you please tell me the numbers of ventilators available Islandwide?
C
can you please tell me if additional ventilators have been ordered?
D
if additional have been ordered, can you please tell me when and what the expected date of arrival is please?

The information requested in questions A and B is exempt under Article 23 (Accessible by other means) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as it is accessible to the requester by other means.

As of 17 March 2020 two ventilators had been ordered. They are expected to take six weeks to arrive.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.
(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
