I would like to ask a question on States Members 'Statements of Interest' that are online and specifically for Deputy Montfort Tadier.

Under Section 7 - as reproduced below in answer to Land it says - "None" and then quotes 'Gorey - Jointly owned by Spouse and member of the family'.

To any reader this could imply that Deputy Tadier owns the whole of Gorey but the initial answer was 'None'.

Please clarify exactly what Land or Property Deputy Tadier owns or has a vested interest in and what income he gets from it even if it is through a SPV such as a Private Company?

List details of any land (except the principal place of residence of you or of your spouse or cohabitee) which is wholly owned, or jointly owned with another person –

(a) by or on behalf of you or your spouse or cohabitee; or

(b) by or on behalf of you and your spouse or cohabitee jointly.

List also details of any land from which you or your spouse or cohabitee derives an income. You must describe the land in sufficient detail to enable it to be identified.

The reference to Gorey under Section 7 of Deputy Tadier’s declaration of interests appeared due to a technical error with the States Assembly website and the reference has therefore been removed. Section 7 now accurately reflects the most recent declaration made by Deputy Tadier which can be viewed at the following link:

The States Greffe does not hold information regarding the property or land that is declared by States Members under Section 7 beyond that which appears on the declarations returned and uploaded to the States Assembly website.
