Can you please tell me how many hours that our 2 Gastroenterologists spend on public patients at the hospital?
Response
Two Consultant Gastroenterologists are currently employed by Health & Community Services (HCS) and work 40 hours a week each on public patients. Their time is devoted on seeing, investigating and treating patients within their medical speciality including endoscopies, GI cancers screening, cancer Multidisciplinary Teams, acute GI bleeds and also looking after inpatients admitted in acute medical wards at Jersey General Hospital (JGH).
