What were the Long Term Care hourly rates paid for Care Agencies in Jersey for 2019 and what rates are in 2020? Does the rate vary for different agencies and if so may I please ask why?

The average cost of LTC domiciliary care in Jersey in 2019 and 2020 is set out below.
2019 average hourly rate £22.06
2020 average hourly rate £24.49
The rates varied across the following ranges for the two years in question.
2019 hourly rate range £19.00 - £24.36
2020 hourly rate range £22.00 - £30.00
The domiciliary care sector offers a variety of services from care assistants through to nursing care which attract different fees. The Government of Jersey is working with the care industry to develop a consistent fee structure as part of the development of the Jersey Care Model.
