Who is the present independent panel member(s) on the Conditional Early Release (CER) Panel?

If a prisoner’s application for CER is refused, can a further application(s) be made and if so, within what time period?

This information is exempt as it constitutes personal data. However, we can confirm the current independent panel members have been recruited from the General Public.

Further applications are dependent on the decision by the Panel. A decision may be made that the prisoner cannot reapply. However, it may be decided that the prisoner can reapply if certain conditions are met such as employment or accommodation issues are addressed. There is no set time frame, it is for the panel to decide.
