A total of 222 French fishing vessels have applied for a Jersey fishing licence since 1st January 2021.
The EU provided six separate application lists between March and May 2021, some vessels were included on more than one list, therefore, the following breakdowns do not tally with the total application figure.
March – 56 vessels
April – 32 vessels
May – 169 vessels

The following table details the port of registration for the vessels who have submitted an application.
We are unable to provide details regarding where the vessels are based since they are only required to provide their port of registration in the application process, which could be different to the port or ports out of which they fish.
