Does the hospital stock sufficient supplies of the following therapeutics (cheaper alternatives) to treat respiratory infections for medical emergency purposes,

Ivermectin
Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc
Budoneside or anti-inflammatory respiratory inhalers
Vitamin D

Or anything similar?

Response

The hospital does stock all of these medicines, however they would not necessarily be given to treat respiratory infections for medical emergency purposes.

In addition, we do have evidence based guidelines for the management of COVID-19, which includes a number of medicines – all of which are available if needed.
