Request
Could you please advise me how many people have died in our Jersey hospital to date from covid 19.
Please could you also advise me on how many people died from covid 19, with under lying comobility's issues, and how many people passed from purely covid 19 with no co-mobility's.
Clarified Request
What I meant by Co-mobility was any other pre- existing health issues like cancer, heart issues etc.
I'm just asking how many people in Jersey died solely from covid 19 and nothing else. Also if you don't mind could you please advise as to how many people have died to date in total from the pandemic.
Response
As of 27 January 2022, 103 COVID-19 related deaths have been registered in Jersey.
Of those 103 COVID-19 related deaths, four deaths were registered with no cause of death listed under section 1b, 1c or 2. The following link to a previous Freedom of Information request details the information contained in those four registrations. As the information is accessible by other means, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
