I write in follow up to the financial statements (copies of the accounts of Jersey Gas, as held by the States Greffe) that you provided in response to my previous FOI request, which have all proved very helpful.

In your response you stated that the 2020 accounts were not provided because they had not been received by the States Greffe. Assuming the 2020 and perhaps 2021 accounts have now been received by the States Greffe, may I kindly request copies of the same.

Response

A copy of the 2020 Jersey Gas accounts has been enclosed.  The States Greffe does not currently hold the 2021 accounts and Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Article 10 - Obligation of scheduled public authority to confirm or deny holding information

(1) Subject to paragraph (2), if –

(a) a person makes a request for information to a scheduled public authority; and

(b) the authority does not hold the information it must inform the applicant accordingly.

2020 Jersey Gas Accounts

This response has been issued on behalf of the States Greffe. The States Greffe is responsible for the information held by (and on behalf of) both itself and the States Assembly.  Neither the States Assembly nor the States Greffe form part of the Government of Jersey and the Government was not involved either in the examination and retrieval of any information required for this response, nor in the drafting of the response itself.​​
