How many cases of Amyloidosis have been diagnosed in Jersey in the last 5 years ?
Response
The table below shows the number of inpatients admitted with a diagnosis code related to ‘amyloidosis’ for the last five years. Patients are only coded with a diagnosis code when discharged from hospital.

As the numbers are small, disclosure control has been used to protect the privacy of patients, and so therefore, we are showing the actual figure as fewer than five (<5). As such, Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
