Request
I have been lead to believe that standing politicians that fail to get back into the states are entitled to redundancy pay.
If this is the case, can you supply a list of all states members who fail to be voted back in will receive redundancy payments and also how much each person will receive.
Also if those states members who decided not to stay on, what payments if any they receive. Per person and what amount
Response
Details in relation to loss of office compensation for States Members were provided recently within the following Freedom of Information response:
Severance pay for States Members (FOI)
As detailed within the previous response, loss of office compensation is paid in accordance with a recommendation of the former States Members' Remuneration Review Body and is limited to Members who stand for, but who fail to secure, re-election. Such Members are entitled to one month's basic remuneration per four years' continuous service (subject to a minimum of two years' service and pro-rated as necessary). One month's salary in this context is £4,166.67, in line with the current salary for elected States members.
Those Members who stood for election in June 2022 and who were unsuccessful are detailed, along with the relevant loss of compensation payment, within the below table:

The former Chief Minister, John Le Fondré, continued to hold responsibility for this role past 27th June 2022 until all new Ministers were elected to their roles on 11th July 2022. He was not remunerated for this additional time.
Members who did not stand for re-election were not entitled to any loss of compensation or additional salary and were paid for the period to 27th June, when they ceased to be Members.
