Request
How much money Government of Jersey has spent on private charter flights since November 2020?
A breakdown of each private charter flight e.g., Flight to the UK on 1st September 2022 - £100.
Information is not required for patient transfers for off-island medical treatment.
Response
The accounting systems used by the Government of Jersey do not capture information in a way that would identify transactions in the scope of the request from invoice narratives. It has been estimated that to identify these transactions would exceed the cost limit provisions set out in the Freedom of Information (Costs) (Jersey) Regulations 2014. Article 16(1) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law has been applied.
Patient/ Medical/ Prisoner transfers are clearly identified in accounting ledgers however they have not been included in this response.
Please note that employee travel arrangements are booked via the corporate travel provider and must adhere to an in-depth Government of Jersey wide travel policy prior to authorisation.
