Each primary school in Jersey has its own website. 

A

How many 'hits' or visits does each primary school website get each calendar month?

B

How many of these 'hits/visits' are external and how many are internal?

C

Does the Children, Young People, Education and Skills Department measure the effectiveness of these websites and how is this done?

Response

Government of Jersey Primary schools are responsible for the management of their own websites.

This information is not held centrally in a recordable format; therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Article 3 - Meaning of "information held by a public authority"

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
