Please provide an update to the Freedom of Information response dated 2 November 2021 showing:

How many taxi licences are in issue and what is the age breakdown of the drivers?
B
What is the age breakdown of applicants waiting for a taxi licence?
C
How many licence plate holders are not currently working as a taxi driver?

A
267 taxi licences, including 44 company plates, were in issue as at 20 February 2023.
The table below provides a breakdown of taxi licence by various age ranges.

It should be noted that the figures above indicate the number of PSV badge holders who do not currently have a PSV plate, noting that this may include PSV badge holders who are not currently active drivers.

As at 20 February 2023, Driver and Vehicle Standard’s (DVS) records show that three licence holders are not currently working.
It should be noted that despite it being a legal requirement for DVS to be advised when a public service vehicle licence holder is not working, DVS not always notified.
