Response
A
Filters are installed on a rolling 6-month change schedule, as follows:
- August 2021
- February 2022
- August 2022
- February 2023
B
Filters were upgraded in line with the specified rolling 6-month change schedule, as follows:
- February 2022
- August 2022
- February 2023
C
As noted above, filters are changed every six months as part of the Health and Community Services (HCS) Estates Planned Maintenance programme. The biannual change is more frequent than that recommended by the manufacturer in consideration of neighbouring residences. At these biannual checks, filters have been noted to contain signs of food grease and are disposed of appropriately.
D
Filters are changed by the HCS Engineers labour force, not an external company.
E
Costs are £3,000 per change of filter sets.
