Request

In a recent change the Minister for Home Affairs has been renamed as the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs.

A

What will happen to any letterheads, compliment slips and general stationery with the old title?

B

If these are to be destroyed, what is the approximate cost of the stock destroyed?

C

Is any public signage on buildings changed, and if so, what is the cost?

Response

A

The Government of Jersey does not use pre-printed stationery with the title of the Minister, for example. letter heads and titles are applied electronically.

B

Not applicable. Please see response to A.

C

Public signs generally do not display the name of the Minister, although they may display the name of the Department. Signs will generally only be replaced when they are life-expired, and any new signs will use the new logo.

The Department’s name is not changing.
