Please advise how much money has been saved by the schools and Government of Jersey (in terms of salary and other costs, such as pensions and benefits) for each strike day for the calendar years 2019 through to 2022 inclusive and for 2023 up to and including the strike scheduled for 12 September 2023?

Response

The total savings on teachers’ salaries during the Government of Jersey school strike for the calendar years 2019 to 2022 inclusive, is £301,968.

The total savings on teachers’ salaries during the Government of Jersey school strike for 2023 to date is £40,560.
