Please give a detailed explanation of how 'Bona Vacantia' and 'Escheat' work in practice in Jersey?

Do all unclaimed funds transferred to the Crown go exclusively to HM General Receiver in Jersey, and is HM General Receiver obliged to keep those funds on-island? What are these funds used for?

What is the total value of unclaimed funds transferred to the Crown in the last 5, 10 and 20 years?

Please provide an updated list of the 'unclaimed personal estates' in Jersey; this was last updated on 1 January 2020.

How much money has been generated from these estates (including their sale) in the last 5, 10 and 20 years?

F

What is the total value of funds or assets received by the Crown from liquidated companies in the last 5, 10 and 20 years?

G

How much of all unclaimed funds in Jersey - then claimed by the Crown - have been transferred to bodies of the Crown off-island in the last 5, 10 and 20 years? Could the same also be given for money generated from selling unclaimed estates or assets, and also for funds claimed from liquidated companies?

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
