Response

A and B

The Government of Jersey does not maintain a record regarding the gender of the PSV badge holders, therefore this information is not held and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

A Scheduled Public Authority is not required to manipulate or create new data sets when responding to a Freedom of Information request if the requested information is not already held in the requested format.

PSV drivers can only be affiliated to one company/booking entity as detailed in their licence conditions.

In accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the Motor Traffic (Jersey) Law 1935 the PSV vehicle must be operated in accordance with the conditions set out on the licence.

Under Article 9(2) and (3) the Minister for Infrastructure (the ‘Minister’) can apply conditions to a PSV licence as they feel necessary and desirable.
