As the Bank of England sets interest rates solely on United Kingdom inflation which from recent data, is currently lower than Jersey Inflation, please advise what safeguards are in place to ensure that any decisions made by the Bank of England on interest rates does not inadvertently affect the Jersey economy due to the differences in inflation?
