Please advise if there are any restrictions on where Jersey primary and secondary schools can purchase their computer equipment.

If there is a restriction, why is it there, and who is responsible for it? Please provide their contact details if appropriate. Are there plans to remove it to assist the local economy in future?
Response
There is currently no specific restriction on where primary and secondary schools can purchase computer equipment. The Public Finances Manual provides best practice, high level principles and requirements for financial management and procurement in support of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2019.
