Request
How many people in the island are currently prescribed medication for mental health conditions?
Response
As noted in Freedom of Information responses published in July 2024 (linked below), records are not held for either community pharmacies or Health and Community Services’ Pharmacy that detail patient diagnosis or indication for treatment against prescription data, nor are records held for the number of people in Jersey prescribed such medications. Furthermore, records are not available in respect of items prescribed and dispensed privately. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
