Request
How much has the recent investigation and subsequent court case cost to date for [personal information redacted]? If only one of the factors can be calculated like the court case alone, that would be sufficient.
Response
Court case cost information is not held. The costs of court buildings and court staff are not assigned to individual cases in records, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies. The costs of external law firms which are private firms outside the Government’s jurisdiction is not held and the Law Officers’ Department is not a Scheduled Public Authority under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
The cost of the States of Jersey Police investigation to 10 September 2024 has been £14,101.11.
