Hello, as part of an ongoing piece of academic research following on from 2014 to 2015, which I plan to publish in an academic article or literary review, can you tell me the top three themes and frequencies of complaints made to your emergency Ambulance Service in the financial year 2015 to 2016. Do not include patient transport or NHS 111 or direct services.
The format may look something like:
Delay - 472 complaints
Staff attitude - 265
Clinical outcome - 186
Thank you
Response
The Health and Social Services Department’s financial year runs from January to December.
In order to allow comparison with a standard April to March financial year, the data has been broken down into three date ranges:
January to March 2015 | 4 complaints in relation to attitude and behaviour |
April to December 2015 | 5 complaints in total: 3 in relation to attitude and behaviour 1 communication 1 other |
January to March 2016 | 2 complaints in relation to attitude and behaviour |
Data for the year 2014 to 15 has been requested previously and this was provided as our financial year January to December, not the financial year April to March.
Therefore, some of the data will overlap with the previous request which can be viewed at the following link:
