The Assistant Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture, Deputy Norton, states that there are 850 charities operating in the Island.

The States of Jersey does not hold the information that you require.
It is estimated that there may be in the region of 850 charitable organisations in Jersey. The definitive number is not known and there is no comprehensive list of charities at the current moment. Once the Charities Law is enacted there will be a register of charities but it is not envisaged that the Law will be enacted for at least 24 months.
