Response

Information provided below is a ‘snap shot’ of cases recorded within the States of Jersey from 1 June 2015 to 1 September 2016.

Due to certain departments having low levels of disciplinary cases, Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. As a result of this, departments and case types, formal or informal, have been consolidated to prevent the possibility of identifying an individual:

DepartmentTotal
Community and Constitutional Affairs34
Department for Education19
Department for Health and Social Services50
Department for Social Security13
All other departments13
Total129

Additionally, for the same reasons listed above, the outcomes of the above cases have also been consolidated:

OutcomeTotal
Disciplined41
Dismissal10
No action taken / no outcome / resigned prior to disciplinary17
Ongoing61
Total129
